New Albany Fire Department Chief Mark Whiteside said the December meeting of Old South F.O.O.L.S —an acronym standing for Fraternal Order of Leatherheads Society — was to be Tuesday, Dec. 3, at Nico’s in New Albany at 6 p.m. 

  “I was contacted about the desire to meet here, and I immediately thought about Nico's as the logical location. — Christmas time, downtown, a fire-based organization, and an area that loves their firefighters.
