The Aberdeen Bulldogs had a well-thought-out game plan going up against the No. 1 seeded Independence Wildcats, and they executed it to perfection to secure a 44-28 win during Friday’s Class 3A second-round matchup.

“After seeing them on film, we knew that they didn’t like an in-your-face running game, so we planned to go out and run the ball hard all night,” Aberdeen coach Alex Williams said. “We had a lot of success doing that.”
