Jeremy Jones-Lindsey: Itawamba Career and Technical Center collision repair teacher loves empowering students

mm-2024-08-jeremy-jones-lindsey-hm

Jeremy-Jones Lindsey poses for a portrait in his classroom at the Itawamba Career and Technical Center in Fulton, Miss, on June 24, 2024.

Jeremy Jones-Lindsey grew up in Hamilton, Mississippi, doing a little bit of everything. His uncle, who drove 18-wheelers and was a jack-of-all-trades, began teaching Jones-Lindsey how to work — on cars and in general — when he was 11 years old.

“He made me become more of a man, you know, … and gave me those work values, those values I needed to be able to be a successful worker in whatever industry I chose,” Jones-Lindsey said.
