ELLISTOWN - East Union grabbed a pair of wins on the hardwood to get off to a great start on Tuesday over Ashland at home. The Lady Urchins took the opening contest 55-23 while the boys followed that up with an 88-53 verdict.

East Union went ahead early in the first holding Ashland to just 4 points, 18-4. Caroline Sherwood, Lily Kate Johnson, and Emma Adams each boarded four points for the Lady Urchins in the period, while Ashland’s Morgan Crutcher sunk the four points for the Lady Devils.
