It’s a little early to be talking about municipal elections; they’re slightly more than a year away. Candidates will begin qualifying Jan. 1, however, and the second half of the year will go by quickly.

Some people – I would hope, several – will need to use that time thinking about whether to run for public office in New Albany, or Myrtle or Blue Springs.
