AMORY – Amory’s boys’ golf team faced some challenges during the Class 4A state tournament at River Birch, but they found a way to end the tournament strong last Tuesday with a second-place finish.

“After Day 1, we just found a way to get back up to the top and ended up finishing as the runner-up,” Amory coach Kyle Ragon said. “Obviously, we wanted to win it all and felt like we had the squad to do so this year, but to come back and come away with hardware is something to be proud of.”
