NASSAU, Bahamas – Despite a strong second half showing, No. 18/18 Ole Miss women’s basketball dropped its matchup against No. 1/2 UConn, 73-60, in the title round of the Continental Tire Baha Mar Championship on Wednesday night.

The Rebels (4-2, 0-0 SEC) found themselves in a 19-point hole at halftime, but ignited in the third quarter. Ole Miss outscored UConn (6-0, 0-0 Big East) 42-36 in the second half, fueled by 28 points in the third. The Rebels became the first team this season to reach the 60-point mark against the Huskies, but fell short of tying the program’s largest halftime comeback.
