The North Pontotoc boys remain unbeaten on the season. On Thursday they notched a dominant 7-0 victory over Amory at home, the third of four wins last week.

Tripp Little began the night with a shot that just missed. David Tovar got the Vikings on the board just afterward with a goal in the 8th minute, assisted by Alan Medina. Tovar would find the back of the net again 10 minutes later. Little got off another good look a few minutes afterward, but it was saved by Amory goalie Drew Blair. Luis Andrade made a nice play to help prevent a goal, running down a Amory break away and clearing the ball. Tovar broke into the open field on a run and scored again to make it 3-0 in the 33rd minute. With under five to play in the half, Medina had a shot that was saved by Blair, who saved another shot by John Mendoza in the final seconds.
