MOOREVILLE — Mooreville Middle School and Mooreville High School hosted their annual Veterans Day program in the high school gym the morning of Thursday, Nov. 14.

The program is a tradition that goes back three decades, to when now-retired Mooreville teacher Carol Rupert founded it in 1993. Knowing there were many World War II veterans living in the area, she wanted to do something to honor them. Her students loved the program, so she did it again the next year, and the next, and the program has lived on since then.
