TUPELO — Netflix is set to release next month a new three-part crime documentary about Tupelo natives Paul Kevin Curtis, James Everett Dutschke and the infamous 2013 ricin case that made national headlines.

"The Kings of Tupelo: A Southern Crime Saga," made by Emmy-winning directors Maclain Way and Chapman Way, details the saga that led to a 25-year prison sentence for Dutschke after he mailed letters containing ricin to elected officials including President Barack Obama, U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker and Lee County Justice Court Judge Sadie Holland.
