My Choices Pregnancy Help Clinic hosted a Family Christmas event on Tuesday, Nov. 19 with nearly 200 local residents in attendance.

"My Choices Family Christmas" was a great time of celebration, sharing, and fellowship for families in our area. Sixty families visited the clinic on Tuesday, Nov. 19 with at least 100 children seeing Santa Claus in the waiting area. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, and volunteers also joined in the festivities. Approximately 200 people attended the event.

Activities included story time about Jesus' birth, Christmas crafts, refreshments, and gifts for children and parents. Gift bags included diapers or pull ups, wipes, handmade blankets, books for parents and children, and goodies for Mom. Parents received information about free pregnancy and childbirth classes, parenting classes (birth to teens), earn while you learn program, and other resources offered by My Choices Clinic. Free pregnancy testing with proof of positive pregnancy test and limited obstetrical ultrasound are available and so much more! Abstinence, relationship, premarital, health and hygiene, and life skills, just to name a few topics. My Choices has more than 250 classes to choose from, and after registration, videos can be sent to a cell phone or other device. With regular participation, parents may earn diapers, wipes, clothing, toiletries and more for their child from before birth to preschool. Videos are also available for parents of older children and teenagers.
