Several City of Ripley workers set up the new Christmas tree outside of the Tippah County Courthouse last week, in preparation for the Ripley Christmas Parade set for next Tuesday, Dec. 3.

The holiday season is fast approaching, and with it several local festivities are set to begin next week.

The City of Ripley’s Christmas Parade is set for Tuesday, Dec. 3, with photos with Santa Claus from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m., live music from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m., and the parade itself kicking off at 7 p.m. This year’s theme is “Winter Wonderland” and there is still time to enter a float and participate.
